You will never forget the feeling of paddling a kayak out into the open sea, where the waves gently lap against the hull, then reversing course towards the pristine islands in Lan Ha Bay for a swim.

After enjoying a refreshing swim, you can paddle further through the fishing villages, past the rocky cliffs within the bay.

Kayaking is one of the most memorable experiences in Cat Ba. Additionally, you can also go sea diving to admire the coral reefs either with a snorkel (cheaper option) or with an oxygen tank (more expensive, around 1 – 1.5 million VND per person per trip).

Note: There are two ways to kayak: either rent a kayak and paddle yourself or purchase a kayaking tour (which may include snorkeling) for the whole day.

Paddling yourself allows you the freedom to explore the islands at your leisure, but with a tour, you’ll be taken to the most beautiful spots in Lan Ha Bay and kayak there.

Furthermore, you can also participate in snorkeling with a meal included for 390,000 dong per person.
